"It's My Party"

Well Happy Birthday to Me!  At exactly 12:00 noon today I turned another year older. Or maybe I should say I survived another year, cause I kind of feel like I'm aging like boxed wine lol. 😆
43... Does it feel great? Not really at the moment. But this past year was definitely spent gaining more wisdom, leveling up on the journey, surpassing more hardships, finding genuine love, making new friends and losing those that no longer deserved a place and continually striving to become a better version of myself and the person I want to be. Through all the trials and heartache, through smiles and laughter, I'm still here and doing my best to always kick ass and take names; that's what I do!  Certain things will get easier in time, but many things will definitely become harder as the years go by. Just trying to do it as gracefully as possible and forever on my own terms.
Thank you everyone for all your love and birthday wishes! It truly means more to me than you know and thank you for always thinking of me. 😊❤️
More pics and vids to come. 🤘🏼
Two final notes. I had to give a big shout out to the two young ladies (Zoe and Ivy) who were hostessing at the restaurant we went to last night. They could tell I wasn't in the best spirits due to flakers and they went out of their way to make me a handmade card shortly after we sat down. I was literally blown away by this kind of generosity and kindness from two young girls who I've never met before in my life. It says a lot about people and sometimes strangers bring it on home for you, as well as those that always show up for you. Finally, I guess I should thank my shoes lol. I had a feeling they might break at some point but they held out until the very end when we went to leave and both straps on both heels snapped. I mean hell it would have been nice to at least not have to try to walk a river with busted shoes but it was a delicate balancing act and made it home in one piece lol.  👏🏼
Another set of cool heels bites the dust.
